A 7.4 km run in four stages
Your car accelerates automatically. Steer with Left/Right or A/D, and brake with Down or S. On a phone, use the hold buttons or choose drag steering in Settings. Look at the space between vehicles early, while you still have room to make a small correction.
- Coast1,400 m
- Desert1,800 m
- Pines2,000 m
- Midnight2,200 m
Later stages raise the cruising speed and bring more demanding traffic. In the pine and midnight stages, some cars can drift across the road. Leave yourself room to adjust after you choose a lane; a gap that looks safe at the top of the screen can narrow before it reaches you.
Braking buys time to steer, not fuel
The tank starts at 100 and drains at 1.05 units per second of racing. Braking does not reduce that drain. Holding the brake for a long stretch covers less distance with the same fuel use, so use it to avoid a collision or regain control, then return to cruising.
A green pickup restores 30 fuel, capped at 100. At 90 fuel, it can only give you 10. A crash costs 25 fuel and drops your speed back to 65. That makes an unsafe swerve toward a pickup a poor trade: a collision can consume most of what you hoped to gain, and the lost speed costs more time.
The verge is dangerous too. Steering beyond the road’s safe edge counts as a crash. Aim for a stable lane and smooth corrections instead of holding a direction until the car reaches the boundary.
What a finish is worth
The score is whole metres travelled, plus 25 for each vehicle passed and 500 for each completed stage. A finish adds 10 points for every whole fuel unit remaining. An unfinished run keeps distance, overtakes, and cleared-stage points, but gets no finish-fuel bonus.
Compare hypothetical finished runs
Every example below completes all four stages. These are practice calculations, not leaderboard submissions.
10,700 points = 7,400 distance + 1,000 overtakes + 2,000 stages + 300 fuel
With 40 overtakes and 30 fuel left, a finish scores 10,700. Keep the same overtakes but finish with only 5 fuel and it scores 10,450. That 25-fuel difference is worth 250 points: ten overtakes. A crash has no separate point deduction, but its fuel and speed costs can easily outweigh one extra pass.
Fuel gained or lost earlier in a race is not always equal to a finish bonus: later pickups can refill the tank, and you still have to reach the line. Use the comparison to understand incentives, not to predict an exact score from one collision.
Keep a good run and learn from the next
Pause with P or Escape, or use the pause button. Leaving the tab pauses automatically. Save & exit returns to the garage, where Resume race continues the saved run on the same browser. Settings and progress are local; clearing browser storage removes them.
Guest runs can improve your browser best. Sign in to post a global score. Ranked race tickets last two hours, and starting another ranked race replaces the previous ticket. After a finish, compare whether your next improvement should come from fewer crashes, more reliable fuel collection, or safer overtakes.
